Eye clinic
Fada N'Gourma

The diocese of Fada, represented by OCADES, Organisation Catholique pour le
Développement et la Solidarité, and Abbé Prosper Kriele, Executive Secretary OCADES,
intends to establish an eye clinic in this provincial capital. The aim is to complement the
insufficient hospital services offered by the state by opening up access to medical services
mainly to the poor of the province's 1.2 million population.
OCADES has asked aa/D's support with establishing an eye clinic.
The agreement covers:

• establishing a clinic and supplying corresponding equipment;
• furnishing an operating theatre and additional facilities;
• building a ward housing beds for patients to use immediately after being operated on;
• starting a medicine shop and equipping it with essential drugs for treatment of eye diseases.
