Cooperating with other Organisations

The poverty and the misery to be found in developing countries cannot be overlooked. Therefore aa/D cooperates with other nongovernmental organisations based in Europe as well as Africa that work in the fields of development aid, health services, work with handicapped people as well as blindness prevention and help for the blind.

First and foremost aa/D will support self-help groups connected to African action groups and churches. The general idea is this is being done only with groups that are personally known and have been accepted as trustworthy. Projects are developed in cooperation on the ground and members of aa/D regularly come to inspect.

All projects come with specific project information files that are either be made available on special request or offered on the Internet. Sponsors and members of aa/D receive regular updates regarding the development of the respective project. Visits from Africa and to Africa are facilitated to further personal knowledge and respect for each other.
