What is "africa action"?

"africa action / Deutschland e.V." (aa/D, formerly: Ghana Action) - Germany - is a registered and recognized association by German Central Institute for Social Affairs as an association that provides public service by supporting the blind and persons with other disabilities in African countries.

Founded in 1983 at Bergheim (a suburb of Cologne) where the head office is located, aa/D is managed and supported by an association of volunteers.
